How do I remove this tan?

I just moved to a really sunny place where almost everyone is dark skinned from a really cold place. I was like really fair before, and didn't have any problems going into the sun. Now suddenly, whenever I go out, I come back with a tan. I wear shorts and Half sleeve shirts usually, so you can actually see this horribly uneven tan. I also have this sandal tan, that makes my foot look like a zebra crossing. :O I'm really worried. When I wear Sleeve-lesses and slippers, people can actually see a whole shade card on me. I want to go back to my natural fairness and absolutely nothing has worked till now. Any help?
