Is it true that a Toyota Prius is just as bad as regular cars because of the transportation of special parts?
I drive a Prius in an effort to lessen my carbon footprint, but recently a friend of mine told me that they are just as bad because though they save gas, the transportation of the special parts needed to make the car, in comparison to that of a non-hybrid, increases the total amount of emissions let off by the production therefore in the long run, being just as bad of an impact on the environment as a regular car. i have not been able to proove or disprove either side. please help!
