Should I mention I've had an improper equipment violation when a judge asks if I've had a ticket?

I have a speeding ticket and am due in court Wednesday. I've had one ticket before, but the traffic court magistrate reduced it to an improper equipment violation. It was in a different county from this ticket, so I know the judge should have no record of my appearance in court. Can I say no when he asks if I've had a ticket? The citation was reduced, so I have no points on my license
