What is the difference between asteroids and comets. ? ?????? ????? ????? ????? ?

The definition between the two is rather vague, but generally if it is rocky composition it is an asteroid and if it is composed of frozen gas and ice then it is a comet. However many such objects fall into a grey area between these two definitions and therefore clifying them can be subjective.
