Was eve wrong to pick the apple from the tree and give it to adam?

Of course what she did was wrong. she didnt fight the temptation, and now every time people are tempted to do something, and they fall under that temptation it all comes back to the story of adam and eve. Also it wasn't an apple, the Bible just says fruit, doesnt say what type of fruit, Just from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
