Where can i buy a cheap knitting machine?

i'm really in to knitting but my hands really do need a break now. i tried liget sites and ther a wee bit to expensive. and i have tried on ebay but i'm just not sure what i'm buying really. does any one have any for sale or now mabey no a shop that sells them. you see i wouldnt mind buying a expensive one if i could have it then and now, i'm still just a bit weary of the internet, if you knoe what i mean. please help. thanks.
